It used to be, and I assume still is, the fact that Read Aloud in personal books only works if there are page numbers as part of the file. If no one else replies you my want to try a small test case, drop some web text into a 2 page document, and try it with/without page numbers. I am pretty sure this is true.
Hi.. Thanks for the fast reply.. I just tried one of my PB that has no page numbers and the read out loud works..
And the PB I am trying to get read out loud to work has Page numbers.

The "page number" issue, was, I think, resolved, as I frequently listen to PBs and haven't put page numbers in one for quite a while. Another issue came up a year or so ago where Read Aloud would halt at sections breaks on PBs, but that also appears to have been remedied.
Issue resolved. It was that I had compiled it as Bible..
