I am using my Dell desktop for most of my work and adding notes to Genesis as I prepare a commentary. I am going to be out of my office for a couple of weeks and will need to use my MacBook for that time. Is there a way to copy the notes files from one machine and OS to the other so I can track the changes I make when outside the office?

As long as you are using the desktop app on both, there will be no need to copy the notes, as they will sync between machines. Obviously, you'll need to be signed in to your account on both.
