I ordered Miley’s
Systematic Theology ages back when it was
on community pricing. It went through to pre-pub at 8 USD. WOW what a surprise to see that now it has been published it is now at the price of 49.95 USD http://www.logos.com/products/details/4300

I would definately recommend you head over to community pricing and get yourselves a fantastic deal.

What have been the best savings you have made through Community Pricing?

Like you I got Miley's Systematic Theology for $8. I also picked up Candlish's Life in a Risen Savior for $4. It's now $24.95.

What have been the best savings you have made through Community Pricing?

Considering that they are all public domain works and the whole concept of community pricing is that Lorgos' costs are covered I fail to see how this is a savings. If they made the current price $10,000 would you be even more excited because you saved $9992. It's fine to have community pricing and sure it isn't bad at $8 but why couldn't they have a more reasonable price later? Like $12 or $19.95? I say this because it makes it very hard to recommend Logos to latecomers. They look at the website and see that a public domain work like this is priced at $50 and they say forget it. Is it really honourable to price these books into the stratosphere? Maybe Logos knows they won't sell any more copies and they want you to say WOW and feel good but I would feel just as happy if they had a policy where the normal price was only double what I paid and I knew that others who join the party later aren't being ripped off.
