hyperlink to biblical references in notes

Hi, I thought there is a way to hyperlink a biblical reference in a note?For instance, when I mouse hoover over the letter at the beginning of any particular word (e.g. letter a in the below example), I can see the biblical reference. Once I click on the letter, the reference is now clickable allowing me to open up my Bible to the same reference.

I want to be able to type in a reference in my note. So, when I come across the note later, I will be able to see the text reference then mouse click to the same reference in my text without having to open the note as I am able in my example above.

I don't see your examples - did you use the paperclip icon in the editor to attach pictures? You can't just paste them in, they'll not show up then.

However, this should work fully automatically. Just type in a reference such as John 3:16 and the Notes editor should recognize it as scripture reference and they'll show up in the future. If you paste text, you may need to go to the references an manually put a space behind to invoke detection, or even edit the hyperlink (the chain symbol).

Thank you but I must be doing something wrong. Here is my example below. If I click on "a" at the phrase "the laborer" Logos displays the corresponding hyperlink box

Matt 10:10; 1Cor9:14; 1 Tim 5:18

I can then proceed to click on any particular Scripture, Logos navigating to which ever reference.

I want to be able to link within the text a Scripture reference to the word "worthy".

I have tired hyperlink within my note, can't get it to work.

All Logos displays is the reference, I can't click to navigate to Matthew 10:11.

I want the reference navigable as above in my first example.

Maybe I have a setting wrong?

I don't believe that you can get the behavior you want. You have to open the note for the link to be live IIRC.

It seems you want to introduce a new note-type: reference/footnote. At least as far as I know, a one-click-reference identical to the built-in footnote references currently is not implemented for us to create ourselves (even though it would be a logical extension of the current concept of annotations as a supergroup that contains notes as well as textless highlights). What notes will do is give you a two-click option.

First you need to build the note so that it recognizes the scripture, as I told you above:

in the future, when you click the yellow note marker or the mouse-over, it will open the note (I just took the arbitrary last one open, disregard the title) and show the scripture verse:

One way to do this would be to use Community Tags:

The command to add a community tag is way down in the lefthandside context menu, so you'll need to scroll a bit to see it:

When you add a community tag, you can choose to put in a bible reference and thus it will show up on hover over the (now underlined) word you selected:

Note that community tags are visible to all Logos/Verbum users and cannot be screened by the originator i.e. everyone who doesn't want them must manual turn each community tag off or give up the functionality of community tags entirely.
