Some apps on the Kindle Fire can be moved to the SD card after installation. Logos does not present that option. Is there a way the engine or at least the library can be on the SD card?

You should understand Kevin's answer as it is written: Faithlife currently doesn't support that scenario in the Android app. However, some users have been able to get that to work with the help of third party software - you should be able to find some ideas when you google the Android forum for 'SD card'. Obviously, using such unsupported hacks may have issues and in such a case, Faithlife support will not be able to help you with that.

The problem is that on all devices that I have seen the extra memory provided by an SD card is NOT set up to be continuous with the hard wired installed at the factory memory. It is set up as an extra 'drive'. And thus apps can not be installed there. [[There are some units that allow apps on SD cards but not all apps run there even on those devices]]
Most apps use little extra memory. They do not support large 'libraries'. And thus the operating system does not ask where would you like your data stored [[your large 'library'] it just ASSUMES that you want it next to the executable.
However text and photo editing apps can be told where to find the source files. So, Why not Logos apps? [[as in sd-card/documents/sidecar/logos ????]] [[There soon will be 256 Gig SD cards!
