Collection of books I added today ?

Hi
Is it possible to create a collection of books that I purchased today ? I've tried selecting them all and dragging into the collection but this doesn't work (I just drag one instead of the whole collection). I could also create a rule that says updated "today" but when tomorrow comes .... Is it possible to freeze a collection so that I could use updated today ? Any ideas on this would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dave

To 'freeze a collection' from a dated update, create the collection, then from within the collection, you could tag them with today's date and use the mytag for a future collection.
From the library, I also believe it is possible to create a collection from your Library search string. But again, you'd have to use a mytag to keep this collection static.

Thanks Doc. I think I have found a large fly in my ointment :-) LastUpdated doesn't appear to be a valid search field. I've checked with the Wiki and it confirms this :-(. Without that I don't think I can do what I want - unless there is a way of adding personal tags to multiple entries in the library at one time ? I'll investigate tomorrow but Its 1AM in the UK and definitely time for sleep :-) Thanks again for your suggestion

Use a collection rule like updateddate:<July 3, 2016>
Other examples:
- updateddate:2016
- updateddate:2016-01-26
- updateddate:20160126
- updateddate:<Jan 2016>
- updateddate:<Jan 26, 2016>
- updateddate:<Jan-May 2016>
- updateddate:<greater Jan 1, 2016>
- updateddate:<less Jan 1, 2016>

Have your Library window sorted by "Last Updated" then with the resourses you want to be in a collection click the top one on the "Type" field highlighting it, scroll down the the bottom one and Shift-Click it. All of them will be highlighted. Then you can put a personal tag on all at once.
You can filter the Library with Dave's updateddate:<July 4, 2016> and they will be the only resources visible making it easier. The problem making a collection rule with updateddate is when a resource is re-updated in the future the collection will then be incomplete.

Ahh, yes! To maintain the collection of added resources you have to tag them manually.

Don't forget to click the Resource Information (i) button after selecting resources.
