Search help please!

A couple of questions for all you search gurus as I am quite rusty with search syntax and need to figure out quickly how to search for the following. The Wiki didn't really help much and I've tried a few things but I think I can do better:

Every instance which contains VERB\SENSE: To know, and OBJECT: God, where God is the object of the knowing
Every instance where Jesus makes a statement about knowing God\the Father.

My best attempt for no.1 was <Sense to know (acquaintance)> BEFORE 2 words <Person God> but there is no clausal or syntactic link between those two, so lots of false positives to wade through.

It didn't seem possible to mix up SENSE search terms with CLAUSAL search terms. I could either do a Sense search or a clausal one, but couldn't work out how to combine them to get what I need.

1. In Clause Search (OT) I tried sense:to know (discern) person:God with success, but got nothing with sense:to know (discern) object:God

Which means you have to experiment using other senses of "to know", initially with Person rather than Object.

2. In Clause Search (NT) I used Person:God Person:Jesus Sense:to know personally
