CRASH: when clicking on "Documents" menu. WIN 6.13 RC 1 (6.13.0.0020)

A week ago I moved to a new computer with Windows 10 (HP ENVY x360 Convertible Notebook PC; Windows 10 Home (64bit); I7-6500U@2.50GHz; 12GB of memory).

I installed the Logos engine, logged in and waited for the syc and indexing to finish. It worked fine (except a minor problem reported on my next post).

Today I changed the update channel to Beta, and received the updated version 6.13 RC 1 (6.13.0.0020).

Now it crashes when I click on the "Documents" menu.

I launched Logos with the CTRL key pressed and proceeded in off-line mode and still have the same problem. Log files in attached zip file.

I think this problem can be caused by having a full "Temp" folder.

Please try to delete as many files as you can from "C:\Users\timhe\AppData\Local\Temp", and/or use Windows' "Disk Cleanup" utility to delete "Temporary files" (note that these aren't checked by default in the tool).

    Hi Bradley,

That worked, however right after cleaning out the TEMP folder I had the same problem until I did the following:

    • Shutdown the computer
    • Rebooted
    • Launched Logos in off-line mode
    • It worked fine
    • Closed Logos
    • Launched Logos in on-line mode
    • It still worked fine

    Thank you.
