Can't clear "Updates will be added when the application is restarted" message. 6.13 RC 1 (6.13.

A week ago I moved to a new computer with Windows 10 (HP ENVY x360 Convertible Notebook PC; Windows 10 Home (64bit); I7-6500U@2.50GHz; 12GB of memory).
I installed the Logos engine (stable channel 6.12), logged in and waited for the syc and indexing to finish. It worked fine except it always says "Resources are ready to be added to your library. Updates will be added when the application is restarted.". Re-launching in either on-line or off-line modes doesn't help.
Today I changed the update channel to Beta, and received the updated version 6.13 RC 1 (6.13.0.0020). It still does the same thing - I can't clear it.

Try running the "update resources" command in the command bar at the top of the windows.

Hi Andrew,
No that didn't work. I entered the command, and Logos did indicate "Checking for updates..." When it was done, I was expecting it to start indexing, but it didn't. I closed Logos and restart it and it still has the same problem.
Note: When I installed Logos on my new computer I did not build any of my Personal Books. I was wondering if they could be the problem, so I checked the Library to see if they were listed but not available, or if the would be missing from the library. To my surprise, one was listed (out of about a dozen I had built on my previous computer), I clicked on it and it did open. (Not sure why one would be available and not the others.) Could the Personal Books be a cause for this problem?

It is impossible to say with log files.
Please turn on logging, then run the "update resources" command again. Post the resulting log from after the command completes.

Hi Andrew,
I had Logos running last night and put my computer to sleep for the night (a common practice of mine). I woke it up this morning, closed Logos, then launched it. I then ran "update resources" as you requested and Logos showed it was checking for updates. When it finished nothing happend (no download or indexing) and still showed the same message that updates will be added..., so I closed Logos.
The only log I found that was modified this morning was LogosError.log (in the folder C:\Users\timhe\Documents\Logos Log Files), which is in the attached zip file.
NOTE: The recent Application Crash references in the error log was addressed in topic https://community.logos.com/forums/t/127737.aspx.

Just realized I DIDN'T have logging on (I thought it was already on). I turned it on, repeated my test (as described in previous post) with the same results and closed logos. Resulting file logos.log is in attached zip file.

Does the following file exist? C:\Users\timhe\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\ykzwe0fc.dib\ResourceManager\Resources\9781595554987.logos4
If so, please delete that file and start the application again.

No, that file does not exist in that folder.
However, it does exist in the folder C:\Users\timhe\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\ykzwe0fc.dib\ResourceManager\Downloaded\LLS_9781595554987
That is the only folder in the folder: C:\Users\timhe\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\ykzwe0fc.dib\ResourceManager\Downloaded\

OK, it sounds like this is similar to another problem we are currently investigating. Just so you are aware, the resource that is failing to install is "The Catalyst Leader" by Brad Lomenick.
Could you find the following files and email them to testing@faithlife.com

Tim, it looks like the file is corrupted. Go ahead and delete this folder:
C:\Users\timhe\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\ykzwe0fc.dib\ResourceManager\Downloaded\LLS_9781595554987
When you start the application, it should automatically try to redownload the file, and things should start working correctly again.

Create a new thread and post your log file. The actually problem is most likely not the same as Tim's problem here.

Hi Andrew,
It worked. I deleted the folder, restarted Logos, the problem notice was gone and it started to index. After indexing Logos said the resource "The Catalyst Leader" was updated. (Support Info: LLS:9781595554987; 2013-03-08T18:33:08Z; 9781595554987.logos4)
