Slow typing response - Logos Bible Software 6.12 SR-2 6.12.0.0038

When I type (at about 60 wpm), what I type in the NOTES are slow to display the text that I am typing. It is limited to one note within a note file. For example, I have a note file for 2016 sermons. I have a note within this note for each week. So, it is within one particular week that the typing is having a slow response. If I go to another note with 2016 sermons, it is not slow and works as expected.

I am wondering if anyone has experienced this and could help troubleshoot.

At one point this was a serious issue on Mac. Significant improvement was made, but I'm not sure how much was made. You are on Mac, right?

How large is the note document and/or note? If you were to print it, how many pages would it be?

Yes. One note within a particular note document. The entire note document would be 46 pages printed. I've gone into other notes in this document and there doesn't seem to be an issue. If I open a clipping or start a new clipping, typing is fine. I've tried to think what I may have done in the document to start it to be slow. Like I may have created a link or highlighted text. But as I roll these back, nothing seems to make it better.
