1) How can I disable the information tab?
Search results are way too cluttered.
Close the tab.
I do not want it as part of any search result. I want to get rid of clutter.

Thomas, do your searches in a Search tab (click the magnifying glass icon in upper left to open it) rather than from the "Go" box on the Home Page, and then you'll get just the search results and not a whole lot of other panels opening up.
That is nice. However, my goal would be passage guide, passage, text comparison. Do not understand why ability to customize results not part of this interface.
What do you mean? This is a little cryptic. I'm not entirely sure what you're looking for.
Thomas,
Set up the screen the way you'd like it, then save that as a layout (Make sure you link the passage and passage guide). Then, whenever you want to run a passage guide with just the guide, passage, and text comparison, just use your layout! See the picture below:
EDIT - Saved layouts can be dragged to the shortcut area at the top of the screen (in my screen, you can see two shortcuts just to the right of the command box) so they are just a click away [:)]
Can I make it the default layout?
Unfortunately there is no way to modify the default layout that is launched from the Go bar on the homepage.

That's true, but if you want to use this layout all the time, just don't use the Home Page (you can turn it off via the Customize menu), and Logos will launch this layout upon startup if you had it open when you last closed Logos.
