Sorting and Printing Notes

I'm rather new to Logos and have been enjoying using the notes feature. However, I'm a bit confused when it comes to printing/exporting notes. I have a notes document called ESV Notes where all of my notes go for the ESV Bible. When I open the notes document I see that all of my notes are there, but it doesn't appear to be sorted by book. It seems to place everything in a random order. In addition, what I would like to do is export all my notes for a particular book (say John, for example) as a PDF. I don't see any option to select a series of notes from a note file. Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You need to change the sorting order to "reference." Click on the notebook icon (upper left corner of panel).

I don't ever print notes, but I don't think the software has that capability. I think you would need to export it externally, then select what you want and create the PDF.

Welcome to the forums.

If you create many notes, you will soon have a Notes file that is too large to be useful. If you want to break up your Notes, now is the time to do it before the job gets too large. Here are some ideas you might find useful:

Thanks Jack. That is excellent advice to have a separate notes document for each book of the Bible. Now I'm going to have to spend some time moving the notes around one by one. Hopefully Logos will make some improvements to the notes (like being able to select several notes at a time) in a future release.
