6.13 RC 1 - Localization issue in German UI for Reading Lists
Maybe this issue is old, but it occurred to me just now when I used the German UI on 6.13 RC 1: Bible references don't work unless by chance the bible book name could be understood in the German language as well (thus Psalm and Genesis work, some of the other Latin names for the five books of Moses as well as Titus probably work, too)
also, there's no Edit button on the top right of the Reading List tab. Compare the English UI:

NB.Mick,
Reading Lists aren't localized because they are written in English. Hyperlink detection is based upon the language of the text that is being scanned, not the UI language.

Philana, thanks for your answer. I understand you are trying to tell me "what you see is not a bug, but by design". However, I don't get how the logic of your second sentence agrees with what I'm seeing.
To me it seems, if L6 knows (or just assumes) that Reading Lists are in English, the hyperlink detection would work, since obviously L6 is capable of detecting such links in English notation (and does so all the time when displaying the correct bible verses from English language resources while running a German UI).
Contrary to your explanation, what I see fits to a situation that Reading Lists are not localized but hyperlink detection unfortunately assumes them to be in UI language instead of the text language.

My explanation wasn't written as clearly. A resource is shipped with the Bible references hardwired in the text. Reading Lists aren't handled that way. So its not the best comparison. A better comparison would be with Notes. If you type a Bible reference in English in a note file with German as the active UI it will not hyperlink, but if you type the same reference in German it will. You can see the example in the screenshot below between James 5:1 and Jakobus 5:1.
The reason some of the references do hyperlink is because of a similarity of the names in German and English.
Psalm and Genesis are used in German:
But Deuteronomy has enough of a different spelling
You can see also the spelling from this German Bible for the other book names.

Hey NB.Mick,
I did create a case to have Reading Lists default back to English for the team to take a look at. I've also created a case for dealing with the edit button as well.
