How do I remove a highlight

I can't seem to remove an accidental highlight. Help please. Thank you.

Two ways: Press and hold the highlight to bring up the menu. Click "edit note" and then "delete." The other option is to delete the highlight from the note document you placed it in.

Tap the highlight which will bring up a different menu to the one Alabama mentioned

Then tapping the rubbish can on the left will delete the highlight
