Can't save Favorites

When I try to add to favorites on the iPhone nothing is added to the favorites screen on the iphone but the link is added in Logos 4. Any ideas? Also, when I am reading a book the app does not seem to keep my place, it always seems to put me back to the start of the nearest chapter.

I can't add any books.
I just get a message 'Downloading' then 'No Favorites'
