Synchronizing reading plan
I had a reading plan on the desktop which synchronized on the app and I could read in both. I might have messed this up when I got behind. So I created a new one. It is a custom reading plan. On the desktop this works fine. See example below.
However, on the app, I can see the reading plan as a document, but not see the dates. The only option I can see is the button "Generate plan", but when pressing this the app crashes.
Any suggestions how to get the dates back so that they show in my Bible in the app?
I am using version 5.2.3 of the Android Logos app (build 502030070), and Logos version 6.12 SR-2 on the desktop.

What is shown on the homepage on the Android app?
Can you post a screenshot?

This doesn't show the reading plan on the app homepage.
Does it appear there at all?

No, it is not on the home page. But then I cannot remember it being there when it used to work. I checked the options for the home page, i.e. Edit Sections. The two which are not flagged are: Today's Readings and Reading Plan Invitations. But adding these does not solve the issue.

It should appear on the home page.
The following screenshot is from an iPad (I dont have the app running on Android at the moment) but it should be similar
There is is a small plus sign which I tapped. Tapping "Bible Reading Plan" from the resulting menu would allow me to add synchronised reading plans to the homepage.
Do you see something similar? If so what options does it give you?

It is a custom reading plan.
Are custom reading plans supported on Android? I know originally they weren't; I don't know if the app has been updated to support them.

Exactly what kind of custom reading plan is it - do you have reproduction steps for creating the plan on Desktop?

It is a "custom" reading plan. Initially at the beginning of the year I started a new reading plan on the desktop, chose "Custom Reading Plan", and entered Jan 1 as starting date, and entered readings for each day manually. Jan 1 was the date shown. I clicked on "Type in a reference" and entered an abbreviation for the chapter, clicked on the full book/chapter which added it, then did that again for a different chapter. Three readings each day. When a day was completed I pressed "Add session" to enter that day, and the next date automatically appeared. I repeated that process.
I only entered about three months, and started using it. It was also shown in the app, and I could jump straight to the sections of the Bible. It all worked fine. I kept adding a new month to the plan, and used it each day to read. Synchronization kept desktop and app in sync. I had entered till mid June in the plan, but early June I got behind with the readings, and passed the last date for which the plan was entered. I then went into the desktop, and added more days, also reading the days I was behind on the desktop. I did not use the app for a month. Entering new dates on the desktop was not a problem, but when I started the app again, it did not show me any details. The screen was the same as shown above (but the plan had a different name).
As I assumed I might have messed it up by going past the last date, I created a new plan on the desktop (also Custom Reading Plan) with a different name, and used the option "Add readings from another reading plan", and used the old plan. This copied all the planned readings and I then added the individual readings for some remaining months. I then selected the option "Catch up" to mark all readings in the new plan up till the current date as Read. This all works fine. I then went back to the app. I could now see the new reading plan under Documents, but if I selected it, I got the screen as shown above. I therefore cannot use it to read.
So, in short, custom reading plans were supported, I used them, and really liked the functionality. But now they do not work, maybe due to an app update, but maybe due to my error because the original one might have been marked as completed. However, the new one is not completed. But I cannot see the individual dates.
And no, the Android app does not seem to show the options shown for the iOS app.

If the original reading plan didn't sync properly after the reading plan got behind, creating a new reading plan by copying data from the original likely won't fix anything. Creating a brand new Reading Plan might correct the issue.
We are already aware of some reading plan issues on both iOS and Android that we intend to fix but your issue might not be related. Please use the "Report a Problem" link in the Help panel to send us your app logs so we can take a look. Please say "Attention Kevin Byford" in the email so that the log is routed to me.0
