Why was this book deleted on upgrade to 6.13?

There must be some logical reason...deleted from 2 installs of 6.13 when updated to 6.13 today:

This was a resource that was originally distributed to Libronix users. (I think it may have been a condition of installing various Syriac fonts, but I'm not entirely sure.)
As you can see from the information you posted, it's quite an old resource and may well be out-of-date. (The title page says "MELTHO: Syriac OpenType Fonts for Windows XP/2000™ and Windows 95/98/ME™".)
We had a longstanding licensing inconsistency on our servers that granted a license to read this resource to some customers who had installed Libronix in the past, but didn't cause the resource to be downloaded automatically. (You would only see if it you had scanned in a Libronix DLS resources folder, for example. So most users who theoretically had the title unlocked probably didn't actually have it in their libraries.)
In fixing this problem, we removed the license from accounts that never "should" have had it in Logos 4/5/6. The consequence is that it was removed from your library. (We don't have information on which books you do have installed, so there was no way for us to only remove the license from customers who weren't using it.)
We don't take license removal lightly, and we should have communicated more clearly on the forums about the potential scope and impact of this change. I apologise for the lack of notice in this instance.
I've unlocked the resource on your account so it should become available in your Library again.

Thanks for the explanation Bradley. If I was not supposed to have it from Libronix days or it causes some sort of problem I am fine with you revoking the license. I was wondering why it went away and I don't want to be the cause of a problem.

Hi Bradley: Thanks for the update.
Also noticing that the resource is available to me with Logos 6.12 SR-2 but missing with 6.13
Wish I could remember back to Libronix days but I seem to have some hazy memory that the Meltho fonts were an available download for people who had a bunch of Syriac resources and might want to have a Syriac font available for use in the Forums or otherwise for papers etc.
Was there any relationship between the availability of this license and a purchase of the Peshitta, Leiden Peshitta, Antioch Bible or similar ?

It’s not a problem if you retain access to that resource. I put “should” in scare quotes because I didn’t really know how to describe the situation. It was a resource we gave you access to in Libronix, but isn’t relevant to Logos 6, is probably many years out-of-date, doesn’t apply to customers who have moved to the Mac (or mobile platforms), etc., and isn’t going to be updated.
If you want to keep it, you’re welcome to. Otherwise, feel free to hide it.

This is probably a coincidence; the removal of the license was performed server-side and had nothing to do with the ship schedule of the desktop application.

Purchasing a resource at logos.com would have triggered an update of your local licenses (to get access to the newly-purchased resources). Otherwise there's no relationship (other than this resource coincidentally happening to be about Syriac fonts).

OK, thanks again for clarifying this, Bradley.
