Question about Personal Book Upload

Is there any way to find out if my personal book has been uploaded to the servers. I know that the upload tab is grayed out in some cases. So is there any way to tell if it is grayed out because I can't upload it to the servers vs. it is grayed out because it already has been uploaded to the servers.

I also have heard that the latest update screws up some of the personal books. Currently I have 6.13 installed.

When you upload your personal books to the servers are they permanently uploaded or do you have to upload them again with each major update?

The only way to tell is to rebuild the book. If the Upload button then becomes active the chances are that it was previously uploaded, rather than unable to upload.

They're permanently uploaded. You won't need to re-upload them even if you upgrade Logos (theoretically this may change with a future major update, but it's unlikely).

The recently reported problems with personal books are not related to the version of the application you have installed. This was purely a problem on the server, and could have affected users with any version. That issue has been resolved, and you shouldn't be seeing this problem where the personal book gets downloaded but fails to be added to your library.

If you were encountering this problem, then every time you started the application you would have a blue indicator at the top of the main window directing you to restart the application. If you don't see this every time you start the application, then you are not affected by the problem. If you do see that indicator, then running the "update resources" command should fix the problem. If it does not, then you will need to post log file to help us diagnose the problem (which may be completely unrelated to personal books).
