Using the 10 or 30 day videos with iPad Pro
I've looked at the Logos propaganda for the iPad app and it SAYS you can do lots of the same stuff you can do on a desktop/laptop. However, I don't see anywhere to actually find out how to DO that stuff (even though it says "see how")
How do I do split screen/screen sync/practically everything?
Is there some super secret document or video series to look at? And I do own Logos 6 with extra stuff, so I want to have the full experience. It's GOT to be possible!
Thanks!

This thread should help you with split screen: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/39734.aspx
There's not much in the way of video tutorials, I'm afraid, apart from this page: https://www.logos.com/training/ios (the split screen is also described there, under "Linked Panels").

For clarification: The mobile app isn't the same thing as the desktop (L6) app. If you want the "full experience," you will need to use the desktop app (mac or windows).
If there are specific features you would like to learn more about, and if they are on mobile, feel free to ask!

Thanks! Maybe the nice Logos people will do a 10-day training for the iPad :-)

Do you think it's worth the $85 yearly premium if my primary intent is to use the iPad? I have a Macbook but don't carry it everywhere.

I know that others have different opinions on the matter... and that is OK. I am not declaring this to be the case for everyone... just my opinion and how I view things...
I believe in the "right tool for the right job." A tablet is IDEAL for consumption. The iPad is my preference when I want to sit down and read (and highlight) for long periods of time (I prefer a kindle paper white if I am just reading, without making highlights). Reading longs bits of books on my MacBook is a chore. On the other hand, if I want to research a topic, and will be moving quickly between books, and want to write up notes... the MacBook is exactly the tool I want. The mobile app is limited, and many features are "online only," but for my needs, it is great. Others, who take a different approach to what they want to accomplish with the device, think otherwise.

I don't recommend spending any money until you've installed the iOS app on your iPad Pro and used it for a while - it's free. If you decide the app doesn't suit your needs you can delete it and it won't cost you anything.

If you find anything false or misleading in what we've said about the capabilities/features in the mobile apps please let us know so we can correct it.
