Where was the sale first notified?
It wasn't until many hours later that it was posted on Twitter and Facebook and I think I get most email notifications. The forums are great for not missing sales that you might have otherwise missed.

I chose the following:
Jesus and Community: The Social Dimensions of Christian Faith
The Crucifixion of Jesus: History, Myth, Faith
The Social Setting of Jesus and the Gospels
Crucifixion: In the Ancient World and the Folly of the Message of the Cross
Systematic Theology: Roman Catholic Perspectives, 2nd ed.
The first four resources I chose do get a broader understanding of the social dimension and context of the first century. It's an area of study that is somewhat new to me and one I want to grow more. I purchased the Social Science Commentary set recently and have some other related resources on my wish list. this was a great opportunity to pick some of those up.
The last resource I wanted to round out my existing collection of resources on Catholic teaching.
