Unable to Search Church History (Volume Two)

First and foremost, I apologize, I am not currently at my computer and thus unable to provide screenshots. I will do my best to explain the situation and post screenshots as needed later this evening.

Last night, while I was writing a quick essay that was assigned out of Church History, Volume Two: From Pre-Reformation to the Present Day I attempted several searches and all of them came back with zero results. Even searching "the" came back with zero results. I tried this with both inline search and traditional search, as well as by the specific book and open resources. All came back with zero results.

I attempted the following with no success:

Checked the resource menu to confirm all search settings were deselected and able to complete the assigned search. I also tried different configurations to see if anything would populate as a result. Nothing.
Restarted Logos. Nothing.
Restarted my computer. Nothing.
Re-indexed my entire library and restarted my computer again. Nothing.

At this point I am at a loss. Any other suggestions? I can search the resource online through app.logos.com but I would rather have the functionality in Logos 6.

What you describe sounds a lot like your index for this book (or the entire library index) is corrupt. Are you sure step 4 finished successfully?

I let it re-index overnight, restarted the machine in the morning, and then attempted a search for "Luther" and "the" but neither worked. It I would be nice if there was an option to re-index a single book rather than my entire library.

There is. Enter the following command in the command box: reindex church history volume 2

I reindex my entire Library again, and likewise attempted to reindex the book itself. I am still unable to search (see below). Is there a way for me to delete the book from my library and reinstall?

Any guidance here would much appreciated. I have another assignment due that requires the use of this resource and searching would be a big help. Its much more difficult to "flip" through a Logos edition than a print edition, especially when attempting to find references to specific people, places, events, etc.

I am happy to delete the resource and reinstall. Whatever I need to do to get this up and running today.

The logs show that you ran the "reindex" command at 21:43:07, but the indexer had started before that, at 21:40:27. So if that is the latest Indexer.log, the implication appears to be that the indexer isn't actually starting and reindexing that resource. It's possible that it may be hanging during shutdown, causing this problem.

Try starting Logos, then finding the Indexer in Activity Monitor and Force Quitting it. (I don't recall if it's called "Indexer" or "Logos Bible Software Indexer".) Then run the "reindex church history" command again.

Again, it would be helpful to have the logs from this session to verify that everything is working properly.

Okay, so I ran the index command with Activity Monitor open. When putting in the command nothing opened in the Activity Monitor and nothing opened in Logos (i.e. the blue circle with the pending tasks). Subsequently, I ran the command on Jude (EEC) and everything seemed to work perfect. LogosIndexer opened in the Activity Monitor and the indexing started in Logos.

Below are the logs. I think the issue is with the resource itself. How should I proceed?

hide the book, restart logos, unhide the book, restart logos, wait for the download and indexing to finish, try again
