I suspect what you want is linked sets.
Resource Panel MenuThe panel menu is under the book cover or icon in the upper-left of any panel. Click on it to show the panel menu: • Text Size Slider — Change the default text size of the resource. The change will apply to the panel, rather than the resource, so that a named layout that contains two panels of the same resource will respect each panel’s text size. • Find (in this panel) — Cmd+F (Mac), Ctrl+F (Windows) — Display a find box in the upper-right of the resource. • Link set — Resources that are indexed by the same data type can be linked together so they navigate to the same reference at the same time.Logos 6 Help (Bellingham, WA: Faithlife, 2015).
Just set the two resources to the same letter (link set).
