Searching for a Situation

In Luke 8 Jesus is going to Jairus house to heal (raise from the dead) his daughter. On the way he is interrupted when a woman touches the hem of His garment is healed. What I would like to do is to search for other situations in which Christ is interrupted and how he handled it. How do I do this?

Indulge me in a un-answer to your question, as I pontificate on the situation that occasioned the interruption. The age of Jairius' daughter (named Talitha (little lamb)) was 12 years old. The woman that interrupted the procession toward the sick (dead) girl had been ill with an issue of blood for 12 years. All of this is documented in Mark 5, Matt 9, and Luke 8. The central question for me is whether it is coincidental that The Holy Spirit would inspire the writers to record those specific time frames (12 years old and 12 years with an issue of blood). It seems unlikely that it is a simple literary artifice to grab attention or aid in memory. No mention is made of the girls mother, it could be... and this is pure speculation... that the woman with the issue of blood corresponding to the age of the girl is her mother. It satisfies my sense of symmetry that Jesus would heal a family by restoring a mother who had been a ceremonial outcast to her husband and daughter, and at the same time restoring the daughter to the mother and father. Idle speculation, but fun to wonder at.

By right clicking significant words you can establish certain elements for a search and I tried
<LDGNT = Temp. Frame> AND {Label Miracle WHERE Agent ~ <Person Jesus> AND Type ~ "Healing"}
in a Basic Search (to get results that span several verses).
The temporal time time in LDGNT may require Logos Now. It's not perfect, but establishing a different time frame may be as close as any search can get.

One idea is searching surface text for:
Jesus NEAR interrupt
Ranked results has a number of hits to consider.
Initially thought about Jesus being "interrupted" by Peter as He was walking on the water and would pass by the disciples.

That's a fascinating thought, Brother Mark. The story has always interested me and its just possible your speculation could be right. Thanks for sharing it. Keep well Paul
