Original Languages in Drop Down

Recently I've noticed that when the dropdown opens after highlighting a word, the original language set doesn't always populate (manuscript, lemma, root, etc.) I generally use ESV, NASB95 on my Macbook Pro, and this only started happening within last few weeks.

I'm still able to get to original languages, in exegetical report, bible word study, and other such places, but the convenience of them appearing with a simple right-click highlight is greatly missed.

Please advise what might be causing this and how to fix it.

Hey would you be able to post a screenshot of what it looks like for you? I tried a right-click within the NIV and had the right-click menu appear. I am too using a MacBook Pro.

I think the issue may be with the single tap highlighting. I discovered that if I highlight a word letter-by-letter, then right-click, the drop down response is as expected. But a single tap highlight gives the screenshots above.

I think you may be on to something here, but even if I highlight more than one word, the manuscript, lemma, and root still show. I am a little confused on why this is happening. I hope someone else can chime in and maybe tell both of us what is happening. Sorry, I wasn't able to fully help Letari.

Partially resolved - the problem happens when "Text Selection" is set to SMART in preferences. When set to WORD it acts beautifully with single "right-click" selection.

Thanks Keith - here are a few examples. I don't think any of these are working as intended.

I believe what's happened in this picture is that you have included the "f" footnote in the selection. When you have a range of text selected, the popup menu shows information for the first word in the selection. Since the first word is the footnote, it's showing the same menu that you'd see if you just right clicked on the footnote itself without any selection.

I think it is a bug with Smart text selection, but it is possible that I don't understand Smart text selection.
