Crash by searching idolatry
Dear Logos,
When I tried to search for idols or idolatry in my dictionary collection Logos keeps crashing. My Logos and Windows are up to date.
Can you please help me fix this issue?

Does this crash happen for other words or just idols? And does it happen when you search in all your resources?

Thanks for your reply Graham.
I've just tried searching for expiation (a less common term) in the same collection and it also crashed. It was the same when I searched for idols under all resources.

Ok so it doesn't seem linked to collections - nor to a specific term.
Please collect logs and post in a reply to this thread as per my suggestion above.
One question - do you get a crash if you do a Bible search? I ask because this sounds as though it might be an index problem and a different index is used when searching in Bibles.

I imagine that the latest log will have all of the searches. But in case it makes it easier I've attached progressive logs.
And when I tried the Bible search on the same terms it didn't crash. It sounds like you're on the right track with the index problem!

In each case the problem seems to be in accessing the resource "Evangelical Dictionary of World Missions"

To do that, "hide" the resource and then restore it. Details on how to do this are at https://wiki.logos.com/Hiding_Books
But before doing that I would use some disk diagnostic tools to check if there are any wider problems with the disk
