I have been comparing the older version with the new upgraded version, and have not as of yet discovered any major difference, other than the colored boxes are no longer their. I was curious as to what upgraded differences others have discovered.
One thing I have noticed right away is that linking now works with the gospels.

Same here.

The Gospels open in the passage guide. Apart from these i am not sure what the excitement is all about.

The links in my old versions seem to work. What links were not working in your old version?
Thanks Mark
With the Ages Commentaries the Harmony of the Gospels would not link with a Bible. You had to do a specific scripture search , or manually open and locate a specific scripture.
Hi Mark,
Here is a list of changes from the older version:
· More authentic reproduction of the original 19th century print volumes
· Bible milestones more accurate and exhaustive for better use with the Passage guide (in some volumes of our original resources, the milestones were left out entirely)
· Accurate volume- and page-number milestones used consistently throughout
· More classic style and presentation of the text
· The side-by-side English and Latin Bible texts are now dynamic tables
· Words in the Latin translations of the Bible texts are now linked to the Latin Dictionaries in Logos Bible Software
· Inclusion of the original Scripture, ancient reference and topical indices
· Inclusion of Hebrew and Greek word lists as found in some of the volumes
· Richer tagging of references, citations and languages
· The Library of Christian Classics text of Calvin’s commentaries by Joseph Haroutunian now part of the series
· Fuller, more authentic table of contents (Contents pane) as drawn from the headings of the original volumes
Hopefully that is the information that you were looking for!

Wish I could participate in this thread, but my new commentaries have yet to arrive - though my credit card was charged the day they were released. Two days ago I spent almost 2 hours with Logos technical help, and they could not figure it out. Said they would work on it and get back to me. Two days later and still no word from them.
I know they are busy and I am trying to be patient. However, I am considering canceling the order. The old copies are looking better and better.
They were also going to work on why the Greek Audio New Testament doesn't work right. No word on that issue two days later, either.
I know they are busy, but so am I. How many days do I have to take two hours in order to get the products that I have bought to work?

Should usually have to take none. It is sad how it seems Logos' issues are being compounded. Logos 4 was hard enough for many people but to have a single release create so many problems is hard to understand. Sorry you are one of the sufferers.
Thanks Mark. Suffering would be an exageration. The technical support lady was as nice as could be, and I knew she was trying her best to help me.
Wouldn't trade Logos 4 for anything. Guess what? While I was complaining my new Calvin Commentaries started downloading. That should teach me to quit complaining.
So the Latin text is linked to a Latin Dictionary. Which Latin dictionary (I have a Latin dictionary - but it doesn't seem to be linked to anything)
How can I get the the dictionary text in an information window or as a pop-up? (I can't find this information anywhere) I use Logos 3 - libronix.

I'm not absolutely certain what Deborah is referring to, but I don't think we've actually treated the Latin text any differently (unless the language tagging was missing entirely from some of the old volumes, but it seems to be present in the ones I checked). This tagging will work with any Latin dictionary, but, unfortunately, for it to be effective for anything more than a few words, we would need to resolve all the words to their dictionary form (a rather labor-intestive process that we do with Greek and Hebrew Biblical texts, but haven't yet done to Latin).
Anyone care to vote for morphological tagging of Latin texts in the requested features poll? [:)]
Now that I have my upgrade, I would say that it was well worth the $24.95 cost.
The additional book "Calvin: Commentaries" by Haroutunian is nearly worth that much, and the commentaries are better formatted.

Of course I will in due time ... requested features only allows me the top 10 so I have to settle for getting "the most bang for my vote" ....[:D]
