Erasing Highlights

I am devising a new sytem for highlights. I would like to start highlighting all over again. Is is possible to erase all of my highlights in all of my books? I know that I can go through and erase them individually but I am wondering if there is a way to do it in one action. Any suggestions?

Not in one action.

But highlights are stored in Notes Documents. Depending on how you have managed highlights to date you may find that they are in a relatively small (or at least manageable) number of Notes Documents. Deleting these would remove the highlights - but please be careful as this would delete any notes you had stored in those Notes Documents as well.

As Graham suggests, deleting the note document will delete the highlights. If your settings were default, then ALL of your highlights will be in note documents named for the highlight pallet you used (i.e. "Solid Colors" or "Highlighter Pens").
