Purchased Dowload - Restart - Just Splashscreen, no progress bar or feedback

I purchased a 50mb download - Have have 5 mb DSL - instructions said all I have to do is restart Logos4 - upon restart, all I get is the Logos splashscreen, no progress bar, no feedback.  It acts like it is hung.  There is a process named Logos4.exe that is consuming over 200K of memory, but no CPU cycles.

Is this by design, or is the app hung? 

I guess I will leave overnight and if it is still hung, perhaps someone has an answer or I'll call support.  In any case, three hours is too long for a 50 mb download, should have only taken 10 minutes. However, I seem to recall that this is how it acted when i first bought Logos 4. 

Could it be downloading all my gigs of stuff again?

You won't get a progress bar. What should have happened was that  Logos opened as usual. It would then sync up with the Logos server. Syncing would show you had a new resource and Logos would start to download it. You would see the small blue Logos icon in the system tray and when you hovered your mouse pointer over it it would tell you what progress it was making. Once downloaded when you hover over it it would ask you to click to install the new resource. That would cause Logos to close and reopen at which time Logos would index your new resources.

What you are seeing is an error.

Go to Task manager and force Logos4.exe to close. Then hold down the CTRL key while you click on the Logos 4 icon. Keep holding it until a screen comes up asking you how to proceed. Choose the option to open to a blank layout. Then instruct the program to sign on as usual.

Once in Logos (if this succeeds) type Update Now in the Command Bar and hit enter. Hopefully Logos will now discover you need this new resource and the process I outlined above will get that into Logos 4.
