Logos 4 anmd the Hard drive

Hey everyone,

I have a Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHZ. processor with a 180GB Hard Drive and 4GB RAM. Logos runs great, but my question is, "Does anyone else seem to see their hard drive running more often with Logos open by itself versus other programs running by themselves. For example, When I have Logos running I hear my hard drive running about all the time, but when I have other program like Word 2007 running by itself, I dont. Is this normal? Like I said, it runs great as far as performace.

Did you just recently install it? It may be still indexing. Check your tray (maybe hidden icons) on the bottom right of the screen to see if the blue Logos icon is there. If it is, let Logos run on the computer overnight to finish that up.

No. Anytime I notice that I know it is likely my background de-frag program. I suggest you switch off some background tasks via msconfig.exe (in Start | Run or Start | Find), including your anti-virus program (or tune its scheduled scans to occur more predictably).
