I am keeping my eyes open for OT resources and notice that there are more that have come out in recent times. However, I noticed also that quality evangelical OT resources are few and far between among those that are offered (as opposed to what would be considered -- by evangelicals -- as liberal theology).
There are a couple notable recent exceptions such as the NICOT, the IVP OT bundle and the NIDOTTE. It would be good if we could see more works from folks such as Bruce Waltke, VanGemeren, Sailhammer, etc. I do not count here works that are way older because valuable as they are in some of the insights or detail of study, they do reflect the limitations of the scholarship of their time.
Blessings,
Francis
PS: This is not an invitation for some to come out and challenge what is termed liberal by evangelicals. The suggestion is for the folks at Logos, they know what I mean.
