Two Excellent Resources Back at Faithlife!!!

Do you all notice that Irving Jensen's Survey of the Old Testament and Survey of the New Testament are back on Faithlife????

I bought mine a few years ago and when I suggested them to other people, they were gone (along with most other Moody books). Anyway, I called FL and was told that FL and Moody have signed a limited contract for a limited time, so if you have ever wanted these excellent resources, now's the time to get them! They are my two favorite books for Bible study!

Most of you know my history with Jensen's studies and my 5 year search for some of his books. FL and Karen Jensen Collins, (and family) have made a bunch of his books available for a great price! BTW...while most of the resources are AMAZING charts and instructions for inductive study, the Laymen's Bible Notebook is over 1000 pages and is a FANTASTIC resource for a light inductive/synthetic study of the New Testament.

I'm super excited that these resources are on Faithlife. I'm hoping that more people become aware of the bundle and pre-orders it! I want those books in digital form more than any other set I've ever ordered! Come on...you know you want them! Big Smile

I am the same Cynthia but I don't sell anything and as far as I know, Karen doesn't sell her dad's resources else wear (outside of Logos). I could be wrong about that but I honestly don't think so.

I can tell you that I do not sell anything at all, so I hope you don't think my above post is motivated in any way by finances. It's simply about my love for his resources.

Don, Cynthia is right -- neither she nor I sell my father's resources. The only publishers that sell his books now are Logos (digital), Moody Publishers (print), and eezra.com, which sells Jensen's Bible Study Charts (print), originally published by Moody.

And you probably know that it's the publishers, not the authors (or deceased author's family), who have the biggest financial gain when their books sell!

Cynthia and I are developing some resources and opportunities to encourage more believers to learn to study the Bible independently--the inductive method, which was my father's passion (and as you can tell, Cynthia is a passionate believer in it as well!). I expect our first ones to be ready this fall!

I even bought his 4 volumes on Everyman's Bible Commentary. Too bad his Independent Bible Study went from "production" back to "almost there." No matter your academic level, basic is always great; especially with Irving and his practical style of teaching 👍👍👍👍👍 five thumbs up for his resources!

I know, Dal! We were surprised as well . . . turns out their computer's formula for figuring how many orders are needed to go into production was skewed (I believe for all titles, not just Dad's), so they are still waiting to get enough pre-orders in . . .
