Hi Melissa,

Thought I'd inform dev. of a different crash this time. I went back
to working in on-line mode where I do get crashes. This morning, the
program went down in the background to me working in Open Office writer.

The Logos4Crash.txt is from 2/27 and the Logos4.log is from today, so there isn't any record of yesterday's crash. Did you have a chance to test it after unloading startup items, or run diagnostics on your system memory yet, as Dave suggested after an earlier crash?

That is weird as I grabbed both the crash report and Logos4.log at the same time. This is the second time that it failed to write a crash report. The on-line crash did bring up a screen indicating that it had to close. Once or twice previously (with last two betas), when it crashed, it had just disappeared altogether without any notice.

I did run a memory scan as Dave suggested (latest version from memtest site) and it took about one and half hours to complete, but it reported no errors. I have run L4 in off-line mode without a crash as I have reported elsewhere.

I will try your suggestion soon (unload startup items) and let you know asap.
