Hi,

'Does anyone know if Logos 7 has any settings that make it more touch friendly to use on a device such as a Surface Pro 4?

Blessings

I have Logos 7 running on my Surface Pro 4.

I have not done very much exploring of the new features but from what I see the touch interface is the same as Logos 6.

While Logos is not as touch friendly as some programs, I use it on my tablet quite a bit. Once I got used to it I can navigate the program fairly well via touch.

Logos 7 doesn't have any improved touch capabilities compared to Logos 6.

The Tablet Pro app from the store is a great investment for Surface users. It can turn all or part of your screen into a virtual touchpad to control a cursor (along with a lot of other features). Between this tool and the basic touch features that already exist, I was able to use Logos 6 reasonably well on my Surface. Not as slick as a true touch interface, but it was quite workable.

(The TouchMousePointer app gives you just the mousing abilities for a little less money.)

I have a pro 3 but I never use it as a tablet.  If you put it into Tablet mode does that help at all?  Does it work well?  I've been meaning to try it one of these days

I have been asking for an option for touch, or to be "touch-ready" for many, many years.  I have been a Logos Bible Software user on a Tablet PC since Libronix.  yes my Tablet PC was a lot bigger than the one I use today. :)  I find that I always have to differentiate Tablet PC vs Tablet device on the forums here and on Faithlife.  There is a common misconception (especially from Apple users that have no option for Apple Tablet PC) that the tablet is a tablet is a tablet, and the tablet apps are touch-enabled.

There are a couple shortcuts that help with tablet PC users and Logos, but essentially, I have found that I just need to make sure I have a resolution on the touch screen set to allow touching.  Then I need to remember that touch-enabled tablet device apps and tablet PC touching like a mouse, are completely different things.

I really was hoping there would at least be an option to enable/disable touch.  So, I am still waiting. :)
