BUG: Audio Bibles always start from Genesis / Matthew

Verbum app, version 5.4.5 on a Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini
I tried play the audio from the ESV Bible for Jeremiah, and it would always just play Genesis 1. Then I tried to play some audio from the Lexham English Bible for the Gospel of John, and it would always play Matthew 1.

I just had the same issue on iOS (current Testflight beta and current iOS beta) for the first time about an hour ago. Mind you, my first reading yesterday was Matthew 1, so I guess it could have started then. This morning I was on Matthew 3, and it kept starting at Matthew 1. I had to give up on audio in the end.
