Barclay vs. Barclay

Anyone have an assessment regarding changes in Barclay DSB circa 1975-76 vs the 2001 edition now offered by Logos? I have the earlier version in Logos. With the 2001 edition now offered in the Gold and up packages, I can't imagine that there's much value in the later version over the earlier. If anyone has had experience with both and believes this isn't a correct assumption on my part I'd be very interested in hearing your opinion.
