Logos book to mp3 or audio file for android
Has anyone had success with a text to voice program and logos books? I am a student and am looking for a way to listen while commuting and increase the productive time that way. Any suggestions or solutions would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Edwin:
I have made a few homemade audio books. I use Ivona Voices in Windows 7 & 10. (British Brian is a very good voice.) I use the Ivona Reader with Logos Print/Export, which involves copying to the clipboard a chapter (or some other allowable-length section) at a time and pasting it into the Reader and make an MP3 from it. I then upload the MP3s to either or both of Amazon Music or Google Music to play on their Android apps. A bit of editing the MP3 tags is necessary because the cloud music services generally don't expose the right properties of the MP3 for sorting. (E.g., File Name isn't available for sorting.) So, at a minimum, you would need to add tags for Album, Artist and Track Number. These are easy to get to in Windows Explorer via Properties-->Details.
The fly in the ointment is that Ivona has exited the retail business and is concentrating on selling to developers and device makers. Their voices are sold by third parties, though, and I'm sure those sellers also have something similar to the Reader that will work.
Here's a thread in this forum that has a lot of general information, tips, and recommendations about TTS, but not specifically audio books: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/105782.aspx?PageIndex=1
Here is a link to Ivona's retailers: https://www.ivona.com/us/for-individuals/voices-for-accessibility/
Finally, here's a quickie Spurgeon chapter: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ft4f5f5n1ntvk90/Spurgeon%20-%20Chapter%2016.mp3?dl=0

Thank you sir, I am new to trying to play with this (haven't dabbled with this technology before) and haven't figured it out yet.
