BUG: Nice to have a note on Elijah ... but where do I find it again?

When making a note I was offered the chance to attach the note to a person (Elijah). I took Logos4 up on this new option only to find no where that it showed up attached to a person.

The issue here is that you can't actually attach a note to Elijah.

The options that influence note attachment precede the thin grey horizontal bar. Context menu pages that follow that thin grey horizontal bar are supplemental information that pertains to text under the cursor/selection. But those context menu pages do not affect note attachment.

If one of those pages is selected when Add note is clicked, the note will use the pre-beta 12 attachement logic of attaching to selected text or a milestone depending on whether the user made explicit text selection.

that follow that thin grey horizontal bar

Empirical test. Note that I have generally approved of the subdued look.

12 year old grandson: could not see bar until his face was within 8 inches of screen. Merely knew what box the bar was in to start.

40 year old son: could not see bar until his face was within 8 inches of screen. Merely knew between which two items the bar occurred to start.

mother/grandmother (bifocal age): eventually saw hint of a bar after Logos pointed it out ... but, of course, WANTS to attach notes to persons, places, things, lemmas ...and, yes, knows some workarounds.[H]

Martha, I just started a new wiki page to help people adjust their monitors. This may not help you at all, but if you could take a look at it and tell me if the suggested adjustments make any difference. I just want to be sure that we are all seeing the same thing. :)
