Bible Browser Too Slow to be usable

I have been playing with the Bible Browser and find it simply too slow. I have attached a link to a video to demonstrate what I am experiencing.
It is not my internet connection as speed tests show a download speed between 25-30 Mbps and Upload of 4.5-5 Mbps

Whew, that is painful :-)
I understand the need for server sophistication/online capability for the feature, but you would think some of the data could be cached on the user's computer so it was slower at first but a majority of the work would be zippy.

That has also been my experience with this feature. Given its slowness, I will probably never use it.

How fast is your Internet connection. I'm on a fast cable connection and it is nowhere near as slow as your video shows.

Thanks Fred. We've reproduced this problem and are working to address it.

I wrote this in another thread, thought it might be worth mentioning here:
Unfortunately, the lag in Bible Browser at present makes it painful to use. Worse, when I first tried to use it, it came up with 2-3 visual filters enabled (not by any explicit action of mine); and it would hang for seconds at a time - to the point where Windows put the "(not responding)" message in the window's title bar. The forums have trained me well enough to look first at VFs in such situations, and that fixed that problem. But it is still so slow to respond that I can't get into any kind of fluid use that lets me really discover what it's good at.

We've shipped some speed improvements for Bible Browser. Please try it again and see if it feels usable now.

I've not used the Browser in the past week but WOW, quite an improvement over when it first rolled! Very snappy.
