Sermon Editor hangs when exporting to Power Point
Hello.
I am having problems exporting sermon slides to PowerPoint.
I have been able to export a file that had about 20 slides but very little text (322 words) but even that took several minutes to export.
I eventually gave up on an actual sermon with 4000 words and 20+ slides after half an hour of waiting while the "Exporting" message was on the screen.
Is the export function slow because of server load, or is there something else going on? My internet connection can sometimes be flaky, but it seems to be stable today.

The export to PowerPoint feature does use your internet connection to download the rendered slides / backgrounds. But half an hour sounds very unusual.
We'll add some logging to the code (for a future release) to help us diagnose this problem better.
Does a Sermon with only one or two slides ever complete?

Today I did a sermon with a bunch of slides but very little text... That took 10 minutes.
I just tried a sermon with a title slide and two more - 4 words. That took 2 minutes.

Hi Jacob,
I am just wandering if this export to powerpoint feature has a chance later on to be available offline? Are there any challenges why this has been the setup of this feature which is very dependent to FL server?
