Monitor Suggestions?

I have decided that the time has come and I'm investing in a new computer. It will have a large Samsung solid state hard drive and a video card with 4Gs of memory (i7 Dual Core and 8Gs of memory), so I'm comfortable it will meet my hardware needs except I'm still undecided on the monitor. I read a lot using Logos (several hours per day) and do a good amount of writing in Word. I use Mobile Ed quite a lot also. My thoughts are that I need high resolution with antiglare for reading (easier on the eyes) so a larger monitor might not be the best. Any thoughts on size, specifications and brand that others have found suitable. It is a desktop so I have a lot of options. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I suppose brands are up to you and anit-glare is a good way to go. I, along with other have multiple monitors. I have two 24 inch LG's. The thing I like about mulitiple monitors is that you can not only spread your work out to a larger frame, but you can also web search for information that you're studying without losing viewing space.
One of the things I like to do when studying historical backgrounds is to have google maps on one monitor while I read/research historical geography. I read through Rambles Round Reformed Lands on one monitor and on the second I used Google Maps to trace out what the book was talking about. Very cool.
Anyway good luck.

Multiple monitors are like having a big desk. Get the biggest ones you can afford.

I had two screens at my previous job. Great for increasing productivity! One screen with the customer support application, the other screen for replicating and solving their issues.
I can imagine that Logos would hugely benefit from two screens, especially if you are a mobileEd user.

What's the budget? The BenQ is a good monitor for the money.

Once again I wanted to thank everyone on this forum for their advice, I Followed Milkman, Jan, Jack and Antonius's advice and purchased two monitors. Using the link that Soren provided and his recommendation I bought BenQ monitors. I am now able to use my Logos software with an ideal configuration- what a delight! Thanks again.

I have an older Samsung flat screen that is huge that I love. I always wonder if there is a better one for reading though.
