Word list input box liner is offset...by design? or insignificant flaw?

This isn't a complaint or a request for a fix (if even one is needed); this is simply a matter of my curiosity. 

Notice the input box for manually typing data into the word list. For me (Im on a Mac), the blue outline of the input box is offset somewhat. It doesn't hurt anything, and I can still type in the boxes just fine...Im just curious if this is by design or if it is a design flaw? 

Does anyone else experience this same look/issue?
