The Life Application Bible Commentary

Does anyone own this commentary. There are no example pages, so I am not too sure the format of the book. I like the simplicity of the commentary from my life application study bible, and was looking for something similar. I went through all my commentaries. They all are either too technical or too concise for what I am looking for at this point. By concise I mean they don’t commentate verse by verse. If they do go verse by verse they are not very explanatory. I still use my technical commentaries a lot but I was looking for something I can use in family devotionals and small neighborhood studies.

Cool thanks.. I guess I am looking for the (Life Application Bible Studies: NLT) rather then the life application commentary. Although that life application commentary looks pretty good. I did not think to check out those websites..

If you want the NLT Study Bible as soon as possible, I'm pretty sure that if you speak directly to a Logos' sales person Monday, they can immediately unlock an L3 CD resources that you purchase from them.

Thanks Paul your email made my mind up for me. The study bible looks more like the commentary I am looking for. I compared it to my life application study bible and they are pretty similar. I appreciate you taking the time to put that together for me.

The Life Application Bible Commentary is one of my favorites. I am studying Romans right now. While discussing my study with my 90 year old Mother, She said she just couldn't comprehend what Paul was saying...i ordered a paper copy of the Romans Commentary for her. That's how comfortable i am with this series. Some commentaries ask more questions than they answer. This one leaves you with some peace and assurance that you understand what is being said.

There are several of the Bibles which have the study notes listed in
Logos as the Study Bible. NLT Bible and NLT Study Bible. The Life
Principles Study Bible gives you the study notes from any version of the
Study Bible print version which you can then use with any Bible
version. Apologetics Study Bible is the same way. My print version is
the Holman Christian Standard. Most of them are listed under Bible Commentaries in Logos 4

I have the NIV version in Logos and hard copy and I use them. They do give good application and are an easy and enjoyable read. They are not for everyone but I do enjoy and benefit from them.
