Priorities show up again!

Ah, it was so nice, for any of us who receive email notifications, to have 25 emails in our inbox from Larry Fitzgerald the new spammer, who dropped them all in the forums last night. This is in addition to the usual cast of bots who post spam. Thank you Faithlife for keeping it easy for people and bots to sign up for new accounts with no verification, approval, or other simple techniques that most professional forums have been using for at least ten years. Or maybe a new account can only post once in the first 24 hours or something? SOMETHING?
We sure want to make sure that some person interested in Logos can sign up immediately with no checks/balances or intervention, even if it creates these kind of inconveniences to existing users because well, they are already hooked. This long standing policy, which FL refuses to change, sure makes the priorities clear.
Thank you for clearing them out of the forums themselves, but you aren't doing anything to help those who receive email notifications.
Faithlife, this is EXTREMELY INCONSIDERATE to your users that have email notifications, Can we PLEASE add a step to make this less possible, like the rest of the world does?

Don't worry Super DOC will support you in whatever complain you have and he will even encourage you to ask for a consolation prize and hey you might just get it and it may just be a free L7 upgrade, because as an FL customer you shouldn't have to go through this LOL Super DOC to the rescue! (echo, echo, echo)

Not sure if your reply is meant to be funny or not, I don't want anything other than a little more consideration at times of customer needs. This issue in the forum software has been happening for a long time. No other forum I participate in has the spam permitted that FL permits. FL seems at times to really miss the customer perspective on what is going on regarding an issue. This is one case where the needs/issues of customers take a back seat to the concern to not let ANYTHING get in the way of 1 new person possibly creating an account so they can buy stuff.

Just poking fun at someone nothing to do with you. But I do agree with you, better control on this issue is needed, though. 👍
