Is anyone else having trouble with CHALOT? I was trying to use it with a passage in Psalm 119, and every time I look up a word, I get a blank view. (See attachments) It is basically unusable.

Fred,
It's working fine for me.
Do you see any text when you click on the word in the left column? If not you may have an indexing issue.
I can get this to work, but since I don't know the exact verse from which you're working, I can't test that particular location in the BHS (or whatever Hebrew Bible you're using).
I do not see any text when I click on the text on the left. I was trying to look up "guarding" (ESV) in Psalm 119:9. I did a right click, and then chose the Hebrew Lemma (shemar) and then CHALOT as the source. Then it "moved" to a blank setting.
Can you get that to work, Rich? Do you think I should do a reindex command? If so, which one? I did recently get the Calvin 500, so I wonder if that messed up my index.
By the way, BDAG appears to work for Greek texts, and BDB for Hebrew. CHALOT is the problem.
Yes it works from both the ESV and the BHS for me. Sounds like you might have a corrupt index. [heavy sigh.]

How do I fix the corrupt index? Now is a good time, since I am about to head to bed.
Even weirder - my BHS is not working either. NO text shows up, but the text should be there, as moving the mouse around the empty space causes a popup with the grammar to show (see screenshot).

Two ways: type rebuild index in the command bar, or delete everything in the index folder (via Windows Explorer). The second method may be more thorough than the first, but I haven't heard from Logos whether it's more effective. Still some will only do the second method. I've not had to so far, at least.
OK, here's another weird thing. CHALOT appears to work when my Hebrew font is set to Ezra, but not when it is set to SBL Hebrew.
So I don't think it is an index. I wonder how the font issue could cause this - especially since when the font is set to SBL Hebrew, it prevents any of the text (Hebrew or English) in CHALOT from showing up.
I just want to add to the confusion here and maybe explain....???
My CHALOT does show with SBL Hebrew. and with Ezra.
I changed to Ezra via program settings but did not restart Logos.
If someone changes program settings will L4 have to be restarted each time to make it come into effect?
I looked at CHALOT initially and saw SBL Hebrew font and it worked.
I changed to ezra and went back to CHALOT and it still worked....
I am using 4.0a

Wild thought here: it's possible for a font file to be corrupted (I've actually had that happen).
Does SBL Hebrew work elsewhere in L4?
It must have been a problem with the font - whether corrupt or not working with Logos properly. I uninstalled it (which was not as easy as it should be, I had to manually delete it and reboot) and then reinstalled. All is working now! [:D]
