It would be great if this was robust enough to use, but it isnt.
Here are my top requests:
- Design
- Customizing the stylesheet for each type. Most preachers have their own desired layout and being able to set all main points, all bible verses, all subpoints, etc to look a certain way is essential, and would save a lot of time.
- Colors!
- Emphasizing text in Bible references
- Export to pdf, doc, or something that can be used more easily when its time to preach. Or having stylesheet templates to apply would be better to quick change things.
- Setting outline styles and indention rules
- Support of unicode font (or uploading of my own) and being able to set that font to be used always. Currently Zero fonts work with Thai, so all of the design features of logos and proclaim do not work for me. So I cry every week. Please give me a font I can use! I have suggested this one from Google before https://www.google.com/get/noto/
- Text Editing
- Right-click send to sermon
- Keyboard shortcuts for setting formatting styles that will follow your stylesheet automatically, make this a slide, delete this as a slide, etc.
- Moving points around by drag and drop, or keyboard shortcuts
- Allow formatting within the lists and outlines and don’t break them
- Undo Doesn’t even work on mac
- Edit text in references without having to go to the visual copy screen
- Organizing
- Importing of sermons I've already preached so they are all in one place
- More flexibility on tagging audiences, dates, preacher
- A place to browse and organize these sermons. If I am going to transition from using word processors, I need a much better filing system than one long list in documents.
You can start with adding that font to proclaim and visual copy
Thanks for the tools!
