I just upgraded to Logos 7 and now when I scroll to the spot I want in the Bible, when I stop, the text moves up or down and does not stay where I stopped it. Very annoying. Is this a bug? Any solutions?
Welcome to forums. I've not had that problem. Are you on a Mac or PC? Have you tried adjusting the sensitivity of your mouse?
I am on a Mac. Everything worked fine in Logos 6. Just started happening in Logos 7.
Okay, I'm on a PC ... we'll wait for a Mac answer
Did you check your linksets? What happens in a new layout with only one resource open?
Do you have Text Comparison in a link set? There was a problem with that scenario, but it could be corrected by changing the TC to Follow rather than linked.
Hi Steve
Are you running Logos 7 Service Release 1 - or the initial release of Logos 7?
There was an update in SR1 designed to fix a scrolling problem - although I think I have seen reports since then
Graham
It works with just one resource open. Thanks. But, shouldn't it work with several open?
How do you change the TC to follow rather than be linked? Thanks.
How do you change it?
It says I am running Version 7.0.0.55
I just ordered it a couple of weeks ago. How do you get the SR1 if you don't have it?

That is the base release
try the command "update now" in the command box and that should give you SR1
Can you also speak to how much RAM you have and the other specs of your system. If it is not part of what Graham is suggesting, it could be a lack of RAM. That is a common indicator of low system memory.
In the panel menu, just to the left of the link set buttons. However, that problem was corrected with 7.0 SR-1
The point to have you try that wasn't to be taken as "this is the way you should be doing it." Rather, when you have troubles, it is often helpful to eliminate variables. By discovering that scrolling works with only one resource open (but not multiple ones), it eliminates your mouse, for example, as being the culprit. It also enhances (but doesn't definitively confirm) the possibility that link sets are the problem.
Thanks, I used the Update Now command and got SR1- works fine after uploading that.
