The primary reason for my writing today has to do with the way that some vowels/accents are rendered in Copy Bible Verse using Hebrew (in LHB, BHS, and exporting to Word and Pages).
I thought I was having a problem with Pages (trying it out as an alternative because of Word's Hebrew problem) because when I pasted the Hebrew text of Gen 2:4, the atnach of בְּהִבָּֽרְאָ֑ם (atnach supposed to be under the א with the qametz) was being rendered as a double qametz. I have come to realize that though I noticed it in Pages, this seems to be an issue with Copy Bible Verse (tried with both Word and Pages selected). Interestingly, though it renders incorrectly in the Copy Bible Verse Window, it copies correctly (with atnach) to Word (albeit, with all vowels/accents aligned left). Also, as it turns out, atnach is not the only accent issue, and Gen 2:4 is not the only verse.
Aside from that, the compatibility between Word for Mac and SBL Hebrew is horrible. I have tried Pages and Mellel but neither of those are working to my required format. Any tips?
