Product choices seem confusing

I'm currently using v6 which originally started as gold under ver 4 and was upgraded since along with many book purchases.  Right now I am not really looking to add additional resources.  I can't really find anything that explains the difference between these concepts and why I should think they are useful:

• Feature set
• Starter Set
• Monthly rental

Of course there was an entirely different concept of cross grade going into v6.

It seems the real differences are very hard to discover.  I see this description buried in a footnote for the Starter set  "Get our full set of features, including Sermon Editor, Concordance Tool, Psalms Explorer, and more, only in with Bronze and up!"  So it appears that a starter set added to what I now have is of no value.

It seems some features only appear in the monthly but don't really understand which ones.  The "feature set" seems similar to the old crossgrade maybe?  but even then not sure what is really added and nothing I have seen is very compelling so far.

Really for someone in your situation, and for most people, I'd recommend subscribing to Logos Now. It's only $90 a year (but going in Jan. to $100) and with it you get all the features Logos 7 offers and will offer in the future. Yes, you're renting, not owning, but it does offer features none of the ownership options provide, plus you get free monthly preview resources and occasional discounts and credits. The latter have made it most worthwhile and clearly the best choice for me--and I'm probably on a tighter budget than most of FaithLife's regular customers.

I agree with Sean - the Logos Now route to is the way to go.

If you really don't find any of the features useful then you can return it within 30 days.
(Beware of trading on your membership as a way of getting discounts during the time you are making your mind up if you are going to be asking for your money back).

If after a year you have not (on balance) found it valuable then you do not have to renew. (You will have the benefit of any discounts obtained during the year -- this will offset the cost of membership)

If you find it useful then you have just another year to subscribe at only 2 dollars a week with 2 weeks off. What do you waste 2 dollars on?
