I just got Logos 7 my question is why do I need Logos cloud Plus and pay an extra fee?
That depends on whether or not you feel like you need the additional resources that come it.
If you purchased a base package, what feature set did you get?
If you did not purchase a feature set, are you a Logos Now subscriber?
If you have a base package you are happy with, but want additional features and access to new features as they are developed and published for LN subscribers, then a Logos Now subscription may be the best choice.
Ultimately you are the only one who can decide whether or not you "need" more
Hello Manuel,
If you already own a Logos base package (or are a Now subscriber), you do not need to purchase a Cloud subscription.

What they said, :-)
You don't need Logos Cloud Plus if you have Logos 7. If you have Logos 7, you (should) have all the features, datasets, and a great library.
However, if you find you like the books that Logos Cloud Plus offers, then it's an affordable way to rent some top-notch books (like EEC, Lexham Bible Guides, Discourse OT/NT, etc). I have Cloud Plus on top of my Logos 7 package since I need the extra books, and I've found that Cloud Plus is still cheaper than direct-purchasing any of them.
