Markup the text in Web app

Can we temporarily draw and mark up the screen while using the Web app?  For example, if I pull up a verse on my iPad while teaching the Bible, how can I highlight and circle key words?

This feature is already available in the desktop version, but not sure about the Web app.  Since many if not most access the web nowadays via a phone or tablet, this would be helpful.

As far as I know, this is not available on the Web app. I think the goal is to eventually make the web app as close to full-featured as they can, but will likely occur incrementally, and take some time

No, this is not available on the web app. But FL has made great strides to enhance the web app, for which I am so appreciative. Besides the Sermon Editor, there isn't anything I am more excited about than the Web App. The roll out of features is a very slow process, much slower than I had hoped it would be, but at least it's getting done.

As far as circling words, I'm not aware of the ability to do that in Logos now. How are you able to "circle" a word? I know you can use particular highlighting style to box in a word, provided that particular highlighting style has a top, bottom. left, and right border, but I wasn't aware of the ability to actually circle word.

This would be a feature more likely to be found in a screen sharing platform or teaching platform, I would think.

It's also available in the mobile version (at least the IOS version) - all the highlighting palettes that are available in the desktop version are available here, so you might be better off downloading the IOS version. It also has the advantage that you don't have to be online to do so. It is free to download from the App store and most, if not all, of your resources will be available on it.

When did you last try F8? It's been around for eons but I, at least, never use it and keep forgetting it's existence.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

  • Right.  I was talking about the annotation feature in Logos using the F8 function.

Thanks to everyone for their response.
